Add Photos and Files (Mobile)
Perform these steps after you locate the work order and check in. For instructions on how to check in, see Check In (Mobile). You can take a photo and add it to the work order, choose a photo from your camera library, or upload a document.
Add Photos
- After you check in, tap Requirements to see which photos are required and if a checklist is required.
Tip: If you cannot access the property, you'll need to add that to the work order. See Check In (Mobile).
- Tap Upload Photos and then tap the type of required photo that you will upload. In this example, the address verification photo was already uploaded when you checked in, so you'll be adding before and after photos of the required parts.
- Tap Open Camera to take a photo or tap Open Library to choose an existing photo in your camera roll. If prompted, tap OK to let Motili access your camera. In this example, you're adding a before photo.
- If you tapped Open Camera, take a photo on your phone, and then tap Use Photo. When you take a photo, a new album called Motili is automatically created and the photo is stored there.
- If you tapped Open Library, tap the library that contains the photo. Tap the photo to select it and tap Done. If you are not satisfied with the photo you added, tap the photo and tap Delete Photo.
Tip: To upload multiple photos on an Android cell phone, do a long tap on the first photo to enable multi-select and then tap the other photos.
- Tap Add Photo to upload the next photo. In this example, it's an after photo.You must submit before and after photos of all equipment and parts that you replace. Include multiple photos if needed to show all the work you did.
- When you are done uploading photos, tap Back. Each photo you add to a work order must be unique. Depending on client restrictions, if you reuse a photo from another work order, the photo might be rejected. Do not reuse photos from other work orders.
- Verify that the Photos section contains a green check mark and tap Back.
The Requirements section now contains a green check mark.
Add Files
You can attach supporting documentation, such as work permits, warranty information, owner's manuals, and receipts to the work order.
- In the work order, tap Files.
- Tap Add Photo for the type of file you are uploading.
- Tap Open Camera to take a photo or tap Open Library to choose an existing photo in your camera roll. If prompted, tap OK to let Motili access your camera.
