Check In (Mobile)
To learn about the types of work orders, see Learn About Work Orders. Work orders display based on scheduled date for the current week (Sunday - Saturday) and are categorized into Overdue, In Process, and Not Started.
- Log in to the Mobile App. See Access the Mobile App.
- (Optional) Search by zip code to see all jobs assigned to you within a specific radius:
- Tap Filter, then tap Zip Code.
- Enter the zip code.
- Tap Radius from Zip Code and choose a distance.
- (Optional) Select Display Results from Closest to Farthest.
- Tap Apply.
Tip: If you can't find the work order for a specific project, tap Filter, scroll to the right, and tap Job Type. Then tap Project, choose the project, and tap Apply to see all work orders assigned to you. If you don't have any assigned jobs, the Job Type filter does not appear. You can also filter by job type (Diagnostic, Preventative Maintenance, Repair, and so on.
- Locate the work order and tap it to download the details to your mobile device. After you save it, Downloaded appears on the work order. If you are four hours past the scheduled time for a job, Overdue appears on the work order.
- You can also search by zip code to see all jobs assigned to you within a specific radius.
- After you tap the work order, tap To Begin Work, Tap to Check In.
- Provide address verification by uploading a photo and tapping Verify and Check In.
- If you are unable to access the home, do not check In. Instead, tap Unable to Access.
Then choose a reason and tap Submit. If you left a door tag at the property, tap Click to Upload Door Tag, add a photo, and tap Done.
Motili will contact the homeowner to reschedule and send you an email. You are paid a fee for this inconvenience. A message appears at the top of the work order and you are automatically checked out of the work order. - Tap Requirements to see which photos and checklists are required for this job. Tip: When you return to the main Jobs screen, you can pull down from the top of the screen to refresh and update the documents that are already downloaded to your device. For example, if a work order changed from In Process to Closed, refreshing makes that update appear.
