Add Equipment and Parts (Mobile)
If you need to order additional parts and equipment that are not part of the original work order, determine if the items are over the clip level. See When to Add Equipment & Parts.
If the new amount is under the clip level:
- After you upload all your photos to the work order, tap Back to return to the main Work Order page.
- Tap Line Items.
- Tap Add.
- In the Product Selector, tap a category.
- Equipment - Contains the majority of Motili-supplied equipment.
- Parts - Contains the most common parts that are supplied by Motili, such as whips, disconnects, pads, line sets, thermostats, and so on.
- Custom - Contains Motili-supplied equipment or parts that you cannot locate in the Product Selector. For example, a boiler or a swamp cooler. Add a description of the item as well as a line item for the labor to install this item.
- Supplied - Contains any other items that you are supplying, such as line flush or duct work. Type a description of the item, the cost of the item, and your labor to install it.
- Scroll through the category and locate the equipment or part that you need and tap Add.
- Tap OK to confirm the item. Equipment and parts generally show a cost of $0.00, since the contractor does not purchase those on behalf of the customer. Your labor payout will be automatically added to the order. The payout can only be viewed by Contractor Owners and Contractor Admins.
Tip: If you are adding a Supplied item, choose the item and enter the cost. Then click Add and type the payout to install it.
- Tap the Truck and review the items.
- Tap Delivery and enter the address or tap Pick Up and choose a Distribution Center.
- Click Submit to add these items to the work order.
- Tap Exit Product Selector, then tap Back.
- To add additional comments or files, see Submit a Work Order. If you're performing asset tagging, see Tag an Asset (Mobile).
- Check out of the work order by tapping Checked In, Tap to Check Out.
- Verify the date and time, and tap Confirm.
- Tap Yes to submit the work order, which sends it to Motili for review. After Motili approves it, you'll be paid for your labor and other parts as needed. See Submit a Work Order (Mobile).
Tip: If any line items are over the clip level, you'll be prompted to provide additional details. That information is submitted as a quote and must be approved.
If the new amount is over the clip level:
- Perform all the steps above. Motili will pay the work order amount that is under the clip level.
- For items over the clip level, a quote is automatically generated. Motili will review and approve it.
